How to print passport photos cheaply

Print a standard 4×6-inch photo sheet at a pharmacy or supermarket kiosk instead of paying for a passport photo service.

Why passport photo services cost more

A passport photo service charges for taking and cutting the photos. The same stores print an ordinary 4×6-inch (10×15 cm) photo for a small fraction of that price, and a 4×6-inch sheet holds several passport photos.

Four steps

  1. Make the sheet. Upload your photo, choose your document and download the 300 DPI 4×6-inch sheet. Open the photo studio
  2. Copy the file. Save the image to your phone, a USB drive or an SD card.
  3. Order a standard print at the kiosk.
    • Go to a pharmacy or supermarket with a photo kiosk.
    • Connect your phone or insert the USB drive or card.
    • Choose a single 4×6-inch (10×15 cm) print.
    • Do not choose the passport or ID photo option.
  4. Cut the photos. Cut along the printed cut marks with scissors or a paper cutter.
