Corrections policy

Photo rules change. MakeAnID.com corrects sizes and rules when an official source shows they are wrong or out of date.

How rules are checked

Each document's size, head height and background colour is taken from the issuing authority's publication or the international standard it follows, listed on the sources page.

Reporting a mistake

If a size or rule is wrong, write to the address on the contact page and include a link to the official source. We check the report against that source and update the site if it is confirmed.
