How to print passport photos cheaply
Print a standard 4×6-inch photo sheet at a pharmacy or supermarket kiosk instead of paying for a passport photo service.
Why passport photo services cost more
A passport photo service charges for taking and cutting the photos. The same stores print an ordinary 4×6-inch (10×15 cm) photo for a small fraction of that price, and a 4×6-inch sheet holds several passport photos.
Four steps
- Make the sheet. Upload your photo, choose your document and download the 300 DPI 4×6-inch sheet. Open the photo studio
- Copy the file. Save the image to your phone, a USB drive or an SD card.
- Order a standard print at the kiosk.
- Go to a pharmacy or supermarket with a photo kiosk.
- Connect your phone or insert the USB drive or card.
- Choose a single 4×6-inch (10×15 cm) print.
- Do not choose the passport or ID photo option.
- Cut the photos. Cut along the printed cut marks with scissors or a paper cutter.
