Terms of use

By using MakeAnID.com you agree to these terms.

The service

MakeAnID.com is a free tool that crops and adjusts photos in your browser to match published passport, visa and ID photo sizes. It is provided as is, without any warranty.

No guarantee of acceptance

Authorities decide whether a photo is acceptable. The studio's checks are a guide only: a photo that passes them can still be refused. Check the current rules with the issuing authority before you apply.

Your content

You keep all rights to your photos. They are processed on your device and never sent to us. Only use photos of yourself or of people who have agreed to it.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to create photos for fraudulent documents or to impersonate anyone.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, MakeAnID.com is not liable for refused applications, fees, travel costs or other losses from using the site.

Changes

These terms may change. The version on this page applies.
